Sound familiar? This summer you helped clean your parents’ home, garage, attic- and found reels and reels of old film. But you don’t have a working projector- how do you see them, and what do you DO with all those little reels? Rocky Mountain Audio Video Productions is here to help!
#1- so you can watch them!
Before your film turns to dust (it can happen in Colorado weather!) bring it to RMAVP and we’ll clean it, prepare it and scan it to stunning 1080P HD video. You can have it burned to a BluRay disk, or a if you aren’t ready for HD at home- a DVD. We can even give you a file if you want to edit the footage and make a fun video piece for family and friends!
#2- burn them to a disk to share with family and friends
The cool thing is, we use the latest technology (same thing used by the Academy in Hollywood!) featuring a super-cool LED light-source, a sprocket-less transport and we scan the ENTIRE frame of the film- not just the TV safe area. You’ll get the best there is, with no heat damage and no sprocket-hole tearing, so we truly preserve your film. We can even color-correct your film to restore the natural color that gets lost with age.
#3- protect them from heat, damage and discoloration
Transferring old film will protect your treasured memories for the future. We can handle 16mm, 8mm, and Super8 film and even most 35mm slides. Bring old slides in to us in carousels and we’ll do the same thing for you!
#4- our 5-step process is the best there is available today
How do we do it? Here’s the 5-Step Film Transfer Process.
#5- save your family history
Transferring film & slides is not expensive, it is priceless! Don’t let your precious family memories fade away…let us preserve them now at Rocky Mountain Audio Video Productions.
